Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez Hangs Himself in Prison

Sentenced former NFL star Aaron Hernandez on Wednesday morning submitted suicide in jail, the U.S. Branch of Correction has said. 

His stun suicide comes scarcely five days after he was vindicated of a 2012 murder of two men in Boston. He was however as yet serving a lifelong incarceration without the chance for further appeal for the 2013 murder of Odin L. Lloyd. 

As indicated by an announcement from the Department of Corrections, Hernandez, 27, was found hanging in his cell at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Mass, at around 3:05 a.m. 

"Mr. Hernandez was in a solitary cell in an all inclusive community unit," the announcement said. "Mr. Hernandez hanged himself using a bedsheet that he joined to his cell window. Mr. Hernandez likewise endeavored to piece his entryway from within by sticking the entryway with different things." 

Boston Globe reports that lifesaving procedures were utilized after he was transported to UMass Memorial in Leominster, just for him to be articulated dead at 4:07 a.m. Wednesday. 

As per DOC representative Christopher Fallon, he was not on a suicide watch on the grounds that there was no sign he was thinking about hurting himself.
