Gibson was conceived Walter Flemming yet was referred to generally as Gibson on and off stage. Her astounding move moves and in front of an audience persona made her well known in neighborhood LGBTQ inward B/HAP (ball and house event) circles.

Texas promotion assemble Black Trans Women, Inc., discharged an announcement on Gibson. "Chyna Gibson had gone home to New Orleans to like a great many other individuals, observe Mardi Gras and be with her family amid that happy time. Rather, she was mercilessly killed.

Shot ten circumstances and left beyond words the parking area of a New Orleans strip shopping center. BTWI might want to express our sympathies to Chyna's family, companions and all who adored her. She was notable in the expo and assembly hall group as Chyna Doll Dupree, and she will be remembered fondly."
